ORIGINS

Agustin M. Delgado is a self-taught fashion designer and craftsman born in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Rooted in generations of creativity and sewing traditions within his family, Delgado developed a passion for fashion and design at an early age while growing up in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Inspired by the women and men in his family who created hand-sewn and hand-tailored garments, he cultivated a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, artistry, and individuality.

At the age of seven, Delgado relocated to Washington State, where he reunited with his mother, whose influence became the foundation of his understanding of textiles, color, and creative expression. Her guidance helped shape the artistic vision that continues to define his work today. In 2018, Delgado launched his namesake brand, quickly gaining attention for his bold, theatrical, and emotionally driven designs. His work blends fashion with storytelling, drawing inspiration from history, art, culture, and diverse artistic movements from around the world. Delgado believes that “to understand the future, one must first understand the past,” a philosophy that is reflected throughout his collections.

Through wearable art, Delgado seeks to evoke emotion, inspire individuality, and celebrate the unique personality of each client. Every garment serves as both a story and a canvas — merging romance, imagination, and craftsmanship into designs that bring his artistic vision to life.

For his 2027 Fall/Winter collection, Stigmata: Heavenly Bodies, Agustin M. Delgado explores one of the rarest and most mystifying phenomena within Catholic history, dating back to the 13th century: the manifestation of the sacred wounds of Christ, known as the stigmata. Through this collection, Delgado transforms religious symbolism, devotion, suffering, and transcendence into a dramatic visual narrative expressed through couture fashion.

Stigmata: Heavenly Bodies is a bold and emotionally charged collection defined by theatrical elegance and avant-garde artistry. The designs feature amorphous silhouettes that challenge form and ignite the imagination, balanced by sculpted, fitted tailoring that gracefully accentuates the waist and celebrates the precision of masculine craftsmanship. Each garment embodies a sense of romantic fantasy, infused with ostentatious extravagance and striking detail.
