F/W 2027 STIGMATA: Heavenly Bodies

Stigmata: Heavenly Bodies marks Delgado’s exploration of one of the rarest and most mysterious phenomena in Catholic history dating back to the 13th century: the manifestation of the sacred wounds of Christ, known as the stigmata. Through couture fashion, Delgado transforms themes of devotion, suffering, and transcendence into a dramatic visual narrative.

Inspired by the Five Sacred Wounds — the pierced wrists and feet, the spear wound to the torso, the crown of thorns upon the forehead, and the scourged wounds across the back — the collection incorporates symbolic textures, sculptural silhouettes, and ornate detailing throughout each design.

Stigmata: Heavenly Bodies merges avant-garde construction with refined tailoring, balancing amorphous forms with fitted silhouettes and sharp masculine structure. Rich in theatrical elegance and romantic extravagance, each garment is conceived as a wearable work of art — where fashion, history, and spirituality collide.
